These are the most attractive employers for business students

According to the latest research by Universum, a branding agency, Google is perceived to be the most attractive employer for business students.

Google, Apple, EY, Goldman Sachs and PwC claimed the top spots in 2016, with Deloitte, Microsoft, KPMG, L'Oréal and JP Morgan completing the top 10.

Tech rules

The table highlights the continuing popularity of tech companies, banks, and professional services providers among millennials.

The data was collected over a 12-month period across 12 of the world’s largest economies: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom and the United States. It evaluated more than 267,000 business, engineering and IT students (of which 130,935 were business students) on the best companies to work for.

They’re looking for balance

The research showed that these graduates are looking for work-life balance, which is under pressure in an increasingly connected world with staff available by email 24/7.

Statista research from 2014 shows that nearly two thirds of respondents consider work-life balance as a driving factor behind choosing one job or another.
